Simple methods and detailed strategies to avoid the common fallacies about getting the best service for a clean healthy carpet!

What’s Hiding Inside Of Your Carpet!

Your carpet and rugs act as a “filter” in your home for your indoor air.  Their fibers “grab” dirt particles and hold them.  But like any filter, it needs to be cleaned because
when it gets full it cannot grab anything else … and every time you step on a “full” filter you release contaminants back into the air.

If you have allergies, asthma, emphysema, or other breathing problems one major source of your problem could be the pollutants hiding in your carpet.

Here are some interesting facts that I have learn from cleaning carpets.
Fact #1: Every day I pull pounds and pounds of sandy soil out of the base of your neighbors carpets. It is in yours too! Spread the yarns apart and look deep. This sand is
scratching and dulling your carpet. It is grinding your expensive yarns down into those worthless fibers that fill up your vacuum bags. Every moment you wait, your carpet
wears out faster!
Fact #2: While you are down there, how do the traffic lanes feel? Oily residue from the street and air are drying to the carpet. Slightly sticky, they grab dirt and lock it on.
Through a process called “oxidation” soils bond with the carpet, causing color change, and becoming permanently attached. If you wait to long, you are throwing away the
key to unlocking dirt and oil from the traffic lanes. Clean before traffic lanes show up! The longer you wait between cleaning the more soil becomes permanent.
Fact #3: Is the air starting to smell stale?  Pollutants in the air filter through your carpet.  The carpet traps them so you don’t breathe them over and over. But what happens
when that trap gets full? Your family starts breathing pollens, fungus, spores, bacteria, pet odor, cigarette smoke, car exhaust — and hundreds of other chemicals. Dust
mites, both dead and living, and their waste, build up over time also. Once your carpet’s natural filtering ability gets full, it is time for a thorough cleaning for your health’s
sake.
